Getting Ready to Depart

We drove to Alamoosook Lake to check out our old camp; stopped by one of the relatives for a dooryard call; stopped by the cemetery to visit parents and then out to dinner with my siblings.

For many years, our family owned a camp lot on Alamoosook in Orland, ME where-my mom spent time growing up. We even had our own street-Boynton Lane! My dad was a resourceful guy.  He built a storage shed out of doors that he got from a demolition project.  We called it ..............."The Door House".

My mother's cousin wasn't home  for the door yard call, but we could  see he had been harvesting from his garden.  The deck was covered with onions and this wagon had these huge potatoes.

The B in my name stands for my maiden name.
I should have gotten here sooner to tend to the flowers.

My parents' headstones

My brother and sister in law outside the restaurant
 where we had dinner.

One last gathering for a meal.
